With 16 years+ experience in the microelectronics industry we are also available as a consultant / contractor for short and long term projects plus where temporary additional resources are required. Experienced in microelectronics packaging assembly inlcuding die bonding, wire bonding, vacuum reflow, soldering, 3D CAD design plus industrial light microscopy and sub-micrometre (μm) Prior Scientific VMM based metrology & adaptive microphotography imaging.

Former TT Electronics / Semelab Process Engineer of 12 years experience. In 2018 won the TT Electronics global award for "We get the job done well"
Micro VMM/VMS (Visual Measuring Machine / System) capabilities in-house at sub-micrometre (μm) levels for metrology & microphotography. Adaptive lighting for visual inspection & digitial high resolution imaging techniques.

Experienced CAD tooling designer, previously responsible for all European SST Vacuum Reflow Systems tooling design. PTC Creo, Solidworks and Shapr3D projects.

AbbeyCore was founded by David Abbey Taylor in the UK after 15 years of experience in the semiconductor device manufacturing industry, as a Process Engineer and Field Service / Applications Engineer.
They are a Professionally Registered Engineering Technician (EngTech) with the Engineering Council UK and Technician Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology (TMIET). Also a member of the Royal Microscopical Society.
